Building Ideas for Your Site
OK. I'm being lazy this month. Actually, I am
taking the opportunity
to showcase a member of our team, web master Kerry Mann.
Kerry wrote this informative article to help increase your search
results while building a linking strategy.
Facebook 101
Let's stick with internet-related content for this post. Sometimes
we miss the basics with marketing. This Marketing Profs article
is a good primer for using Facebook and attracting fans.
Healthcare Reform and
the Medical Home
Here is one of the better articles defining medical home. It is relevant for
my hospital and long-term care colleagues as the medical home is
one component of an accountable care organization. Future reimbursement
may or will be tied to how a group of organizations care for a given
population.
Healthcare Reform and Long-Term Care
While long-term care has not been given much attention in the reform
process; nonetheless, it too will have to change as models of
healthcare evolve. This article provides a great perspective on
culture change and complements our approach to fostering
resident centered care.
Transparency - Be 100% or
Pay the Price
Beth Israel Deaconess CEO Paul Levy has made a platform out of
transparency yet recent missteps in his personal life have
caused some eyebrows to be raised.
This Harvard article, while a little dense, is also timely.
What You Promise and What You Deliver Better Match
For any healthcare marketer that was asked to market something
that had no “meat” this article is for you.
Are you brave enough to send it to your CEO?

“The amount of
satisfaction you get from life depends largely on your
own ingenuity, self-sufficiency, and resourcefulness.
People who wait around for life to supply their
satisfaction usually find boredom instead.”
