Market Your Mission Not Your Margin
With tax-exempt
challenges rising and class action suits being brought
with regards to indigent care charges, hospitals have little “insurance”
when it comes to showing their true value in the community. In fact,

marketing is done around high “profit” centers, which sends a

determined.
This past summer, the Senate Finance Committee was considering a
proposal where the tax-exempt status of hospitals and other organizations
would be reviewed every five years.
